Recognizing this, HardPressed has purchased publication rights from Palestinian photojournalists in Gaza through the Activestills collective and will periodically publish a direct series from Gaza called In Photos.
These conditions are enforced by the U.S. and Israeli government.

"Doctors at Nasser Medical Complex report a deterioration in the health of 21-day-old baby Ghazal Harzallah due to a severe plasma deficiency and serious blood disorder, causing blood clots, Khan Yunis, Gaza Strip, 5 April 2026. The condition has resulted in bruising all over her body and puts her leg at risk of amputation. The infant requires continuous plasma transfusions, and doctors warn of a sudden deterioration in her condition given the lack of medical resources. They stressed the urgent need to transfer her for treatment outside the Gaza Strip to save her life. Meanwhile, she is hospitalized alongside infants suffering from severe malnutrition as children in the Gaza Strip face a resurgent health crisis.
